According to her, the practice of yoga is one of the most effective ways to explore yourself and develop confidence. The yoga teachings help people discover their true nature and realize their potential through exploring their true selves. It would be great if all of us that have been touched by yoga can find ourselves journeying inward with an open heart, awareness, good intentions, and a connection to our inner wisdom to enrich our own, and the lives of people all around us, with relaxation, peace, joy, smiles, laughter, and love. As yoga practitioners, she wishes that all of us can find ourselves journeying inward with an open heart, awareness, good intentions, and a connection to our inner wisdom to enrich our lives and the lives of those around us with relaxation, peace, joy, smiles, laughter, and love.

Course Description

Ashtanga yoga practice involves pranayama called ujjayi.  Breathing is an essential part of Ashtanga. In the ujjayi breath, the inhalation and exhalation lengths are equal. Using the nose, breathe in and out while restricting the glottis. As you breathe in and out, you hear a faint 'ha' sound without straining your throat. This practice improves detoxification, massages internal organs, strengthen diaphragms, and boosts blood circulation.
